4,224 miles, 26 hours, 5 people, 4 airports..... 1 destination.

The sun was shining brightly as we headed to the Tulsa International Airport. It was already hot and forecasters were predicting 105° for the day...

Our flight was scheduled to leave Tulsa for Chicago at 10:30am, and then connect to our flight to Frankfurt at 3:30pm. Then a short flight to Nuremberg, and our trip should've been done. But after our luggage was checked in, everything changed.

There wasn't even one single cloud in the sky in Tulsa, but our flight to Chicago couldn't leave until it came; and Chicago was basically shut down all day due to bad weather. So we waited... ... ... seconds turned to minutes, minutes to hours, and hours to.... ok, that was lame.... :P

Our flight finally was able to leave at 3:15, which meant that we missed our next flight to Frankfurt. Fortunately, they were able to hook us up with a flight to Paris, but even that was delayed! We were about to take off when the storm hit. So for 3 hours we were stuck on the runway, listening to the lightening and watching the thunder. Thank God for movies.. ... .... .... ... .....

We were going to have a 6 hour layover in Paris, but since we were delayed 3 hrs in Chicago, and then in Paris they didn't let us get off for another hour after we landed, we didn't get to go anywhere... :/ but at least I can say that I went to Paris.. .. .. .. .. :)

Then, after a short and uneventful flight to Nuremberg, we found out that they didn't transfer our check-ins with us. SO.... we didn't have any luggage other than our carry-ons, until Wednesday evening.... lol

So yeah... that's basically all I have time to write about now... I'll post some more pix when I can! :)

Last weekend, my family and I got the chance to go down to Dallas to the Rebelution Conference put on by the Harris brothers...

Wow I haven't updated on here in forever! Alot has been happening in the last month or so....

I spent 2 weeks in Dallas doing IPS Prizewinning Photography I and II in April! Here are some pictures from it.... :)

The first day one of the assignments was "shoe". I took this with Rowan Gillson's camera and Fisheye lens...

One of the assignments for the second day was "fruit"...

"Tribute". Most of the people were taking pictures of the tombstones nearby, but I wanted to think outside the box, so I grabbed this shot of Tori.

The day we learned about portraits was amazing! Photo of Leah Cross.

This is my entry for the "lost" contest, which happened to win the instructors' choice!

Playing around with long exposure and flash on the roof. For this shot, Shuford set the camera and flash off...
